一、学校简介
北京服装学院1959年2月建校，原名北京纺织工学院，1961年7月更名为北京化学纤维工学院，1987年2月，改扩建为北京服装学院，为我国第一所服装高校。建校60余年，立足纺织服装、时尚和文化创意产业发展，形成了鲜明特色和独特优势。
学校目前设有8个全日制本科教学学院，专业设置覆盖纺织服装全产业链，在服装服饰领域的学科和专业建设水平国内领先。学校在校生7000余人，其中本科生6000余人，硕士、博士研究生1000余人。学校已培养数万名毕业生，专业基础扎实、创新能力突出、社会责任感强，很多已成为行业骨干和领军人才。

学校多年来积极服务于国家需要和北京市各项重大活动，先后承担了国庆60周年、70周年，改革开放40周年，中国共产党建立100周年等国内重大活动及2008北京奥运会、残奥会，2014APEC领导人会议，2016里约奥运会，2018平昌冬奥会“北京8分钟”，2020东京奥运会，2022北京冬奥会、冬残奥会等重要国际活动的服装设计工作，助力中国神舟七、九、十、十一系列航天服及舱内用鞋等的设计研发。在全球知名商业杂志CEOWORLD发布的2020年全球最佳时尚学院排名榜上，北服位列中国第一。
二、硕士研究生学制
硕士研究生学制为3年，最长修业年限为5年。修满学分，完成毕业论文，通过论文答辩，可获毕业证书; 符合硕士学位规定条件者，授予中华人民共和国教育部颁发的硕士学位。学习方式为全日制。
三、专业及研究方向（见附件）
四、申请条件
1.年龄原则上要求在22周岁至40周岁，符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。
2.根据中国教育部规定，父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的申请者，以及中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民外国后作为外国留学生的申请者，必须持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上（2021年4月30日之前持有有效外国护照或国籍证明文件，并拥有已注销中国国籍的证明），且最近四年（从2021年4月30日至2025年4月30日）有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在国外居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。
3.品行端正、身体健康，愿意遵守中华人民共和国的法律法规及学校纪律，尊重中国人民风俗习惯。
4.相关专业大学本科学历证明及成绩单。
5.汉语水平达到HSK5级。
6.申请艺术类专业须另提交美术作品集。
五、申请材料
1.北京服装学院来华留学生入学申请表（网上下载）。
2.来华留学生奖学金申请表（网上下载）。
3.申请人护照扫描件。
4.相关专业本科毕业证书及成绩单扫描件。
5.汉语水平考试（新HSK）5级及以上合格证书扫描件。
6.申请艺术类专业需另提交美术作品集电子版等材料。美术作品集要求：能够代表个人实际水平和能力的艺术作品，作品题材、形式、风格不限，数量不限；作品必须独立完成。
7.担保人身份证件扫描件。
8.家庭或个人经济状况证明。
9.个人陈述及研究计划，800字左右（用中文手写）。
10.两封教授或副教授（或相当职称人士）的推荐信，中英文均可。
11.相关院系要求提交的其他证明文件。
注：以上证明材料必须为原件或公证件。
六、申请流程
1.线上提交申请材料：自简章发布之日起，至2025年6月30日前报名截止。申请材料发送至国际学院邮箱（gjyoffice@bift.edu.cn）。
2.网上支付报名费用600元人民币，无论是否录取，报名费均不退还。
3.学校将于2025年7月前，根据材料审核情况确定面试名单。面试具体安排另行通知。
七、录取确认
学校将根据学生所提交申请材料、作品集评定成绩、汉语水平和面试情况确定录取名单。成绩优异的留学生可获得北京市政府奖学金。
八、入学手续
现场报到时需提供以下材料以供核查：
1.《录取通知书》原件或复印件；
2.审核所有申请资料原件；
3.审核入学相关信息并签字确认；
4.在华事务担保人有效证件的复印件；
5.签证、保险单据及体检结果证明；
6.近期护照用免冠白底照片2张；
7.未获得奖学金的同学须支付第一学年学费；
8.拟在校内住宿的学生须提前申请，学院根据空床位实际情况按申请先后顺序予以安排。原则上学生在入住前须足额交纳一学期的住宿费用。
九、相关费用标准及奖学金

2.住宿费标准：人民币50～60元/床/天/人，分学期一次性支付。所有费用必须通过网上缴费平台支付。
3.留学生可以根据条件申请北京市外国留学生奖学金，奖学金仅用于抵扣学费，具体金额根据每年评定情况而定。
4.中国教育部规定，来华留学生必须购买中国大陆境内保险公司医疗保险。留学生可在报到前进行网上支付，或者于报到注册日当天现场购买医疗保险。对于没有购买所要求的医疗保险者，学校将不予办理注册手续。
十、住宿条件
1.学院配有学生宿舍。设有双人间、三人间，房间内配备空调、电视、淋浴、卫生间、卧具等电器和生活用品，宿舍配有厨房，宿舍区设有自主洗衣房。
2.由于公寓住宿容量有限，留学生也可以租住学校外的房屋，但必须在入境后24小时之内到当地的公安机关办理登记手续。
十一、留学生管理
1.留学生管理按中国教育部《学校招收和培养国际学生管理办法》和学校留学生学籍管理、公寓管理等文件执行。
2.根据中国教育部规定，新生入校后三个月内将进行全面复查，复查不合格者，学校保留各种处理结果的资格。
3.留学生入境后在一周内赴北京国际旅游卫生保健中心体检并领取《外国人体格检查记录》原件。
4.因特殊原因不能按时报到的，应在报到日期前发送电子邮件请假，学校可为其保留2周的入学资格。无故逾期或请假后仍不能按时报到者，将被取消入学资格。
5.签证管理。
（1）申请人被录取后，学校将邮件发送录取通知书和来华学习签证申请表（JW201/202表），申请人收到材料后应及时前往中国驻外使领馆申请X1字签证，在抵达中国后30天内须将X1字签证转换成学习类居留许可。
（2）如果申请人在办理报到前已有在华学习类居留许可，须在距离居留许可到期一个月之前到留学生办公室办理转学和签证延长手续。
6.其他未尽事宜由北京服装学院国际学院负责解释。

BIFT 2025 International Student Enrollment Prospectus of Graduates
Ⅰ. Introduction to the School of International Education (SIE)
The School of International Education (SIE) at BIFT is responsible for developing programs and management regulations related to the enrollment and cultivation of international students. Our work encompasses enrollment consultation, visa processing, education and teaching, and daily management for international students (both degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking) worldwide.
Since 1997, SIE has offered bachelor’s degree programs in Fashion Design, Product Design, Visual Communication, Environmental Design, Animation, Photography, Fashion Performance, Painting, and Sculpture, as well as Chinese language training courses and specialized programs in Chinese culture, art, and fashion. These programs have attracted thousands of international students from countries such as the US, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Korea, Ukraine, Japan, Denmark, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Ethiopia, Argentina, and Chile, as well as Chinese students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
Ⅱ. Duration of Study
The standard duration for graduate programs is 3 years, with a maximum of 5 years. Students who complete the required credits, submit their graduation theses, and pass the thesis defense will be awarded a diploma and a master’s degree from the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The study mode is full-time. Note: Military service time is not counted toward the length of schooling.
Ⅲ. Program Offerings
BIFT offers graduate programs in both art and non-art disciplines. For details, please refer to the attached documents.
Ⅳ. Application Requirements
1. Applicants must be foreign citizens holding a valid passport and aged between 22 and 40 (in principle).
2. Applicants who emigrated from China must provide a foreign passport issued before April 30, 2021, proof of canceled Chinese nationality, and evidence of residing abroad for at least 2 years within the past 4 years (a stay of 9 months or more in a year counts as one full year, verified by entry and exit stamps).
3. Applicants must be in good health, exhibit good conduct, and be willing to comply with the laws and regulations of China and BIFT’s disciplinary rules, while respecting Chinese customs.
4. Applicants must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree or higher.
5. Chinese language proficiency must meet at least HSK Level 5.
6. Art program applicants must submit a personal portfolio.
Ⅴ. Application Deadline
Applications are accepted from the date of this announcement until June 30, 2025. For mailed applications, the postmark date will be considered the submission date. Send application materials to: gjyoffice@bift.edu.cn.
Ⅵ. Application Procedures
1. Submit the following materials via email (Note: Submitted materials will not be returned, regardless of admission status):
(1) Completed Application Form (downloadable from the website).
(2) Scholarship Application Form (downloadable from the website).
(3) Copy of passport.
(4) Copy of bachelor’s degree certificate and academic transcripts.
(5) Copy of HSK transcript (Level 5 or above).
(6) Personal portfolio (for art programs; A4 size for painting copies).
(7) Copy of guarantor’s passport or ID card (issued by the guarantor or relevant institution).
(8) Proof of personal or family financial status.
(9) Study plan (approximately 800 words in Chinese).
(10) Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English).
Note: All certificates must be original or notarized copies.
2. Application fee: 600 RMB (non-refundable).
3. Online Interview or Exam: Arrangements will be announced later.
Ⅶ. Review Process
1. All application documents will be reviewed.
2. Art portfolios will be evaluated by a panel.
3. Application materials must be submitted by June 30, 2025.
4. Online interviews or exams will be conducted by July 5, 2025. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their contact information is up-to-date.
5. The admission list and scholarship levels will be determined based on the above steps.
Ⅷ. Enrollment Confirmation
Admitted students must provide the following for registration:
1. Original and photocopy of the Admission Letter.
2. Original and photocopy of visa, highest degree certificate, HSK transcript, temporary accommodation registration form, and medical insurance.
3. Completed “Admission Form for Foreign Students at BIFT” and signed commitment letter of learning discipline.
4. For applicants under 18: Photocopy of the guarantor’s valid documentation in China.
5. Valid visa and medical examination results.
6. Two 2-inch color ID photos with a white background.
7. Tuition fee for the first academic year (if no scholarship is awarded) and medical insurance fee.
8. Contact SIE in advance to arrange accommodation. In principle, the dormitory fees should be paid in advance for the first school year.

2. Dormitory Fees: 50–60 RMB/bed/day (paid in full for the semester via the school’s financial platform).
3. Scholarships: Eligible students may apply for the Beijing International Student Scholarship (Levels A–D; Level A covers full tuition of one year).
4. Medical Insurance: Mandatory for all students per regulations of the Ministry of Education of PRC.
Ⅹ. Accommodation
1. SIE offers dormitories with double or triple rooms, equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower facilities, and basic necessities. Some rooms include kitchens. Laundry facilities are shared.
2. Off-campus housing is permitted but must be registered with local authorities within 24 hours of moving in.
Ⅺ. International Student Management
1. Management follows regulations set by the Ministry of Education of PRC and BIFT’s policies.
2. New students undergo a 3-month review; unqualified students may face dismissal.
3. Non-resident visa holders must submit a medical examination form from the Haidian Clinic of Beijing International Travel Healthcare Center.
4. Visa Requirements:
(1) Admitted students will receive an Admission Notice and JW202 form by mail.
(2) Students must register with local police within 24 hours of arrival, complete school registration within a week, and obtain a residence permit within 30 days.
(3) Late submissions may result in admission cancellation.
