一、专业简介
本学科坚持“立德树人”，树立“德艺馨、大艺术、国际化、地方性”人才培养理念，不断传承、创新、弘扬地域美术研究，积极探索、研究并建设当代艺术语言构架，搭建了培养高质量美术人才所需要的实践基地与平台，建立并不断优化管理与服务机制。师资力量雄厚，专任教师48人，其中硕士生导师15名，具有正高职称教师11名，博士学位教师22名。在美术人才培养、美术创作与研究、服务社会等方面不断精进。硕士研究生招生以专业硕士为主，设立了中国画、绘画（油画、水彩、版画）、书法等专业方向。

三、专业培养目标
培养具有良好职业道德；在美术学科专业创作领域具备较强的实践能力与创作表现力、能够运用专业理论知识解决艺术实践中的实际问题；具有从事美术创作、教学工作或文化艺术产业管理与策划的能力；了解美术学科的发展现状和动向，具有严谨的科学作风。培养具备系统美术专业知识与高水平技能及良好综合素养的高层次美术专门人才，以及胜任文化艺术事业与产业方面所需的创作、教育、管理与策划等相关工作的高层次应用型美术专业人才。近年来，本学科已为社会各领域培养输送了大量美术学专业的高端人才，就业范畴广泛，就业前景良好。
