一、专业简介
南通大学音乐专业艺术硕士涵盖声乐演唱、钢琴演奏、中国乐器演奏、音乐教育四个方向。秉承中国传统文化精髓，借鉴国际音乐艺术教育经验，以相对稳定的教学内容和课程体系为支撑。同时，引进ROBERTO，IVO，BEATRICE，ALESSIA，SARA等多位专任外籍教师长期任教，以扩充国际音乐教学的师资队伍。培养过程突出专业特点，以实践为主，兼顾理论及内在素质的培养；根据培养方案的要求和因材施教的原则，从研究生的实际情况出发，根据不同专业方向制订研究生个人培养计划，培养精、专、尖人才。

三、专业培养目标
本专业旨在以立德树人为根本任务，培养德、智、体全面发展的国际高级音乐人才。在扎实掌握音乐基础理论和专门知识的基础上，具有独立从事科研工作或专门技术工作的能力，在科学或专门技术上取得创新性成果。能够胜任中外专业文艺团体、群众文化机构以及各类学校等单位的音乐表演、音乐管理、艺术策划与编排、音乐教学等工作的高素质综合型音乐人才。
