一、专业简介
中国语言文学为一级学科硕士学位授权点、南通大学博士学位授权培育学科，现设中国古代文学、中国古典文献学、中国现当代文学、汉语言文字学、语言学及应用语言学、文艺学、比较文学与世界文学等7个二级学科硕士点及学科教学（语文）、学科教学（历史）专业学位硕士点。中国语言文学为江苏省“十一五”“十二五”“十三五”重点学科。拥有江苏高校人文社会科学重点研究基地（楚辞研究中心）、江苏高校哲学社会科学重点建设基地（东亚文化研究中心）、范曾艺术馆、张謇研究院等。

三、专业培养目标
